Hunan Huanian Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Development Group Co., Ltd. and was incorporated on May 17, 2017 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan and operation and management assets of 20 billion yuan. It is mainly responsible for the management and operation of Xiangjiang Group's cultural tourism projects such as Xiangjiang Happy City, Meixihu International Culture & Arts Centre, Langham Place, Changsha (a five star-rated hotel), Holiday Inn Changsha Dawangshan (a four star-rated hotel), City Island, Festival Island and Breeze Over Water. Huanian Cultural Tourism adheres to the corporate mission of "innovating cultural tourism pattern for leading quality lifestyle", pays particular attention to clicks, details and diversity during the whole life circle of cultural tourism projects, and is committed to be the pioneer of cultural tourism innovation in China.

Theme Park

Project Xiangjiang Happy City

With a total investment of ca. 12.3 billion yuan, Xiangjiang Happy City is built on the natural drop of a 100-meter pit, which is one of the "Three Wonders of Pits in China" together with Guizhou's Tianyan project (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope/FAST) and Shanghai's InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland (or Tianma Pit Hotel), and was once recognized as "one of the most impossible builds in the world" by Discovery Channel. It is the leading project of Dawangshan Tourist Resort in the core area of Xiangjiang New Area in Hunan and the first world-class mega innovative integrated tourism industry project in Hunan, featuring unique project originality, world-class project design and elements of an exemplary two-oriented society in project construction.

Happy Snow Park is a mega snow-covered site above ground with an indoor area of 30,000 sq.m. Two Alpine style towns inside connects each other by ski lift. It consists of Fun Snow Activity Area and Skiing Area and is the indoor ice and snow world with the largest number of amusement snow slides, the most diverse skiing experience and the most beautiful landscape in China.

Happy Water Park has 80,000 sq.m. area for outdoor water facilities. It consists of three thematic areas: Parent-Child Activity Area, Flow Rider Area and Thrilling Valley, bringing together more than 20 kinds of fine water amusement equipment. It is the world's only cliff water kingdom built on the cliff wall of the deep pit and the drop, and particularly, the Python Slide with a 100m drop along the terrain of the deep pit is the exclusive ace facility of the Happy Water Park.

Happy Ocean, which brings together marine animals and marine fish display performance and mechanical amusement facilities, is the third comprehensive park of marine theme in China.

Culture & Arts

Project Meixihu International Culture & Arts Centre

The project covers an area of ca. 100,000 sq.m., with a gross floor area of ca. 125,000 sq.m. and a total investment of 2.76 billion yuan. It is the last public cultural architectural design work by Ms. Zaha Hadid, the laureate of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the world's premier architecture prizes, during her lifetime. The project is invested by Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Investment Group Co., Ltd., constructed by Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Development Group Co., Ltd. and operated by Hunan Huanian Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. It consists of a 1,800-seat grand theater, a 500-seat multi-functional small theater and an art gallery with an exhibition hall area of ca. 10,000 sq.m., integrating large opera, dance, musical, symphony and other refined and elegant art performances, art exhibitions as well as communication and training functions. It is positioned as the largest and all-round culture and arts center in Hunan Province, a nation-wide leading player, and an international first-class player.

The project was put into operation in 2017. Since then, it has introduced a host of world-class repertoires, including Dream of the Red Chamber, Aida, Matilda, etc. The theatre's attendance ranks top among peers nationwide; it held the new media art exhibition "MOTSE in MICA", which triggered a frenzy. All these efforts secure it as a leading player in the high-end art market in central China.

Langham Place, Changsha

Holiday Inn Changsha Dawangshan

Langham Place, Changsha, with a floor area of 60,000 sq.m and a total investment of ca. 1.16 billion yuan, has 295 rooms and is nestled in the rest area of Xiangjiang Happy City in Dawangshan Tourist Resort. The hotel brand is a centennial international high-end hotel chain that originates from London, England and will soon bring in the sister restaurant of the same name - "Ming Court", a Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant to offer you an elevated dining experience.

Holiday Inn Changsha Dawangshan, with a floor area of 37,000 sq.m. and a total investment of 530 million yuan, has 280 rooms and it is an introduced high-end hotel brand of the world's leading player IHG Hotels & Resorts. The hotel, put into operation in 2019, is located in Dawangshan area, the must-visit destination in provision of one-stop services including "food, accommodation, mobility, travel, shopping and entertainment". The modern catering and conference facilities, complete surrounding living and entertainment facilities and convenient transportation make it the first option for business meetings and recreational tourism in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area.

Investment & Development

Project Aerial Ultimate Experience Amusement Park in Siduping, Zhangjiajie

The project is located in Siduping Township, Yongding District, with a planning area of ca. 6,000 mu and an investment of ca. 1.08 billion yuan. The project is invested and developed by Hunan Huanian Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. It is intended to combine the unique needle karst and canyons of the base, play the basic role of premier scenic sightseeing, and introduce products such as high-altitude experience amusement equipment and sci-fi experience scenarios to develop itself into a world-class high-altitude experience park integrating sightseeing tourism, extreme experience and leisure tour in Zhangjiajie.
